Avocado Basil Moisturizer

Hate that heavy, greasy feeling you get from most moisturizers? Hate no more - this moisturizer hydrates and nourishes with exotic ingredients.  Your skin just says “aaahh” .  Some of the amazing ingredients include: Avocado oil, Shea butter, Amazonian fruit butter, Carrot root & Rosehip  extracts, Basil, Raspberry and Plum oils.  2oz.

How to use:  After cleansing and or toning in the AM or PM - placing about a dime size amount of lotion to palm of hand - rub hands gently together to spread product - place palms of hands to face to tranfer lotion to all areas of face - use fingertips to rub product into the skin - feel free to add more lotion to any areas that may need it.

Purified Water 

Sunflower Seed Oil - a commonly used carrier oil. It has smoothing properties andis considered noncomedogenic raw material. High linoleic and essential fatty acid content.

Palmitic Acid - emulsifier, derived from palm oil

Cetearyl alcohol – emulsifier, derived from palm oil

Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Avocado Oil- Natural oil from avocados that is rich in vitamins, minerals and linoleic/oleic acids. An excellent skin conditioner and moisturizer that readily penetrates the skin; nonocclusive. 

Organic Shea Butter- Obtained from the nut of the karite nut tree. A natural cellular renewal ingredient, it has excellent moisturizing and nourishing abilities as well as being a natural sunblock. 

Amazonian Fruit Butter-  From the seed of the Brazilian Amazon tree. Emollient rich in oleic acid with excellent moisture binding properties avocados that is rich in vitamins, minerals and linoleic/oleic acids. An excellent skin conditioner and moisturizer that readily penetrates the skin; nonocclusive.

Beeswax- Natural wax produced by bees. Used as a naturally non-comedogenic oil-absorbing ingredient and emulsifier in a wide variety of cosmetics. Excellent for refining, clearing and soothing skin. 

Vegetable Glycerin ( source Olive Oil ) - a vegetable based humectant with water-attracting/binding properties that allows it to draw and absorb water from the air and helps skin retain moisture. 

Lauryl Lactate- part of the preservative system.

Vegetable Emulsifying Wax - emulsifier derived from vegetables

Organic Jojoba Oil - strikingly similar to human sebum able to penetrate the skin.

Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate( source corn starch) -thickener and emulsifier 

Soyamine (source Soy)- emulsifier

Carbomer- Gelling agent. High molecular weight polymer used to thicken, stabilize, and promote shelf life of cosmetics. 

Hydroxymethyl Glycinate -(source soy protein) Preservative

Salicylic Acid ( source white willow tree bark) - helps dissolve the top layer of corneum cells and improves the look of skin, helps keep pores clear.

Gluconolactone (source corn) - smoothes appearance of fine lines with no irritation.  Has antioxidant & humectant properties.

Carrot Root Extract - a powerful anti-oxidant derived from carrots. Contains Beta Carotene to help maintain smooth, soft skin and protect against UV damage.

Non -GMO Lecithin (source Soy Beans) a natural emollient and anti-oxidant with excellent penetration.

Basil Oil - contains linalol, thymol, tannins, pinene, and camphor, making it excellent for healing and soothing the skin.  Stimulating effect on the skin’s circulation and the oil glands, and is also balancing.

Raspberry Oil - rich in vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin C. It’s high tannin content gives excellent astringent properties.

Plum Oil -  Fruit oil with high concentrations of vitamin A, vitamin B2, potassium and antioxidants. 

Organic Rosehip Extract - Extract from the hips of the wild rose.  A soothing skin conditioner

Iron Oxides -  mineral color

Pamiltoyl Tripeptide-3 (SYN®-COLL)- Amino acid that mimics skin’s collagen production mechanism. 

Arbutin -  Naturally occurring plant compound and effective tyrosinase inhibitor for reducing hyperpigmentation. A good 

natural alternative to hydroquinone. 

Seabuckthorn Oil -  A soothing, restorative oil with a high content of fat-soluble vitamins and essential fatty acids. 

CoEnzyme Q10- A fat-soluble antioxidant that assists in cellular metabolism, providing protection from free radical damage and also assisting in cellular repair.
