Lemongrass & Bladderwrack Mist

Lemongrass essential oil gives this PH balanced tonic it’s cool refreshing scent while organic Green Tea Leaf, Coneflower & Licorice Root Extract regulate oil without stripping or excessive drying. 

How to : Use at night after cleansing and exfoliating to get any residue and/or hard water off - make sure you wipe along the hair line where cleanser and makeup sometimes accumulate - use in the AM to refresh skin before moisturizer and makeup.  Saturate cotton pad to wipe. Can be sprayed onto skin at any time to refresh & hydrate.

Cellulose Gum(source Cotton)- thickener

Sorbitol- (source glucose)-  thickener similar to glycerin.

Hydroxymethyl Glycinate - (source soy protein) Preservative

Salicylic Acid - (source Willow Tree Bark) helps dissolve the top layer of corneum cells and improves the look of skin, helps keep pores clear.

Gluconolactone (source corn) - smoothes appearance of fine lines with no irritation.  Has antioxidant & humectant properties. Preservative. 

Organic Green Tea Extract- Rich in potent anti-oxidants called catechins, and xanthines, which are anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant

Basil Oil - contains linalol, thymol, tannins, pinene, and camphor, making it excellent for healing and soothing the skin.  Stimulating effect on the skin’s circulation and the oil glands, and is also balancing.

Organic Lemongrass Hydrosol -   the condensation water produced when lemongrass leaves are distilled.  Acts as an anti-bacterial and anti fungal as well as skin freshner.

Lemongrass Oil -   distilled from the grassy herb of the same name.  It is purifying, refreshing and hydrating. 

Grapefruit Oil - an active oil with anti-irritant properties. Also antiseptic. Believed to help control the body’s liquid process and as such is indicated for work with the lymphatic system.

Organic Calendula Extract - Commonly known as extract of marigold. Emollient with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, soothing, antiseptic properties. Commonly used to treat acne, problem skin as well as delicate skin, strengthens capillaries. 

Organic Burdock Root Extract - A purifying extract credited with antibacterial and antifungal properties, and an ability to help regulate/normalize oil production. Excellent for refining, clearing and soothing skin. 

Organic Bladderwrack Extract -  found to be stimulating, revitalizing, and nourishing to the skin, with anti-inflammatory and disinfectant abilities. Highly moisturizing and moisture balancing. Effective in treating acne based on it’s presumed antibiotic properties.

Canadian Willowherb Extract -  antiseptic and skin clearing, reduces redness. Contains salicylic acid.

Ascorbic Acid -  Vitamin C -  a powerful, water soluble antioxidant that is also used as a pH adjuster and as a preservative in cosmetics.

Coneflower Extract -  has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Pansy Extract -  botanical extract with soothing healing and cleansing properties; contains salicylic acid.

Organic Witch Hazel - Soothing to irritated skin, non drying, wound healing properties,effective against free radicals.

Licorice Root Extract -  studies show this extract boosts the capability of skins natural steroid hormones to combat irritation and inflammation. 

Riboflavin -  vitamin B2 - a skin conditioner

Lycopene - substance derived from tomato; a powerful antioxidant.
